U2 are so bloody generous!!!

U2 might not like paying tax very much, but they certainly don't mind giving their money away to charity. The Belfast Telegraph reports they intend to donate an incredible £8.3 million from ticket sales on their upcoming U2360 stadium tour to a number of fundraising groups.

All money raised from sales in the 'Red Zone' VIP section of their tour seating will be given away, the newspaper reports. Around 600 of these tickets are being sold at auction, with bids climbing to over £1,000. A spokesman for the group confirmed: "All of U2's income raised from the auction of Red Zone tickets will be donated to charity."

The organisations thought to be benefitting are mostly those that focus their efforts in Africa, such as the Global Fund. Johnny Ikon is impressed: Bono and the boys really walk the talk!
