X Factor contestant Ruth Lorenzo has turned her back on Simon Cowell, despite their flirting on the show, after being offered a record deal by his big rivals EMi/Virgin. She signed the £1 million deal last week, and is being touted as "the new Janis Joplin". Errr... really???
