15 million people tuned in to watch Alex's breathtaking performance of "Listen" with Beyonce Knowles, and 8 million people called in the phone-in vote. Beyonce declared "She's a superstar." Alexandra later performed the X Factor Christmas single, "Hallelujah", which record shops have pre-ordered 500,000 copies of.

Controversially, Xtra Factor host Holly Willoughby revealed that Alex had only ever won one vote in previous weeks, with Eoghan Quigg leading the board in 6 out of 12 weeks.

Her performance with Beyonce was so good. I'm sorry
but none of the other acts could of pulled off a
performance with Beyonce like Alexandra did, thank
god she won.
