Steven Gerrard Attends Court On The First Day Of His Trial

Steven Gerrard has just arrived at court to answer assault and affray charges stemming from an incident last December at the The Lounge Inn in Southport, where he was accused of physically attacking a DJ and "turning violent" after the DJ refused to play his favourite song.

Legal sources at the time reported that Gerrard could face five years if convicted later today.
