Jonathan Ross isn't letting his 12-week suspension from the BBC following "Manuelgate" get him down.

The shamed chat show host was suspended after making prank calls to actor Andrew Sachs with Russell Brand, from the latter's Radio 2 show. Updating his status yesterday on social network Twitter, he boasted he was "smoking a cigar and watching Sex And The City season 6. Suspension is fun." He went on to add: "Wondering what record I should play on first radio show. Maybe - You're Gonna Miss Me When I'm Gone." In a final insult to the license payers who fund his £6 million annual salary, he boasted he was spending his time watching television in bed with his wife Jane Goldman, and "enjoying three lunches a day".

Johnny Ikon has a feeling he might come down to earth with a bump when he gets to work and discovers all the new rules the BBC have put in place for him.
