EXCLUSIVE: Beckhams "won't leave LA"

Reports out today are claiming that David and Victoria Beckham's American dream has collapsed, with the pair making urgent plans to return to the UK following Posh's appearance alongside Simon Cowell on 'American Idol', where she was criticised for her weight as usual.

I placed two phone calls to a member of Victoria's family in the UK this morning to clear this nasty rumour up, and they told me: "This is rubbish! And it's insulting to say that Victoria wasn't well-received on 'Idol', lots of people liked her appearance, including Simon Cowell."

My insider went on: "They will not be leaving LA. David's future in football isn't set in stone, but whatever happens, they're both committed to keeping the boys at the same school in the foreseeable future. They just don't have a life back in the UK anymore, all their plans involve progressing their brand and their career in America. Quitting now wouldn't make any sense."
