Russell Brand has really come a long way since the days of wanking a gay man off in the toilets and dressing up as a Nazi solider in the name of "experimental television", hasn't he??

He and his lovely pop star wife-to-be Katy Perry hit the red carpet in LA last night for the Hollywood premiere of his movie 'Get Him To The Greek', coordinating metallic tones in their outfits and holding hands all night in a very sweet gesture of romance. He's really changed!!!

DIVORCE: Cheryl Cole finally begins legal process to end marriage

Cheryl Cole finally launched divorce action yesterday against adulterous husband Ashley.

The papers, filed in the High Court in London after 2pm on Tuesday afternoon, reveal that generous Cheryl doesn't want a penny from the footballer, and has made the very surprising decision to give away her £6 million Surrey home. She is divorcing Ashley on the grounds of "unreasonable behaviour", and the legal documents detail a confrontation between them following media allegations that he'd cheated on her during which he "admitted" everything.

A friend says Cheryl's priority now is a "clean, swift, amicable and smooth" divorce, and she has requested that the proceedings are finalised before June 12th so that Ashley can begin playing in the World Cup in South Africa without "emotional turmoil". Her decision to seek absolutely nothing from Ashley, who earns £6 million a year, is even more generous if you consider that they didn't sign a pre-nuptial agreement when they wed almost four years ago.

Get ready for the obvious pun - this smells like one big, sh*tty PR disaster for Peter Andre.

As the cheesy reality star launched his 'Conditional' aftershave yesterday at Superdrug at Westfield Shopping Centre in West London, security teams braced themselves for chaotic scenes with fans scrapping to see Pete like they did during appearances a year ago when he first walked out on Katie Price. It turns out, they really shouldn't have booked security at all.

Just nine fans (yes nine, seriously) showed up to the launch event, and while they were all thrilled to have extra time with their idol, it does raise questions about the future of Pete's career. Can Claire Powell steer him back to popularity, or is Pete back on the scrapheap???

Russell Brand has been talking about staying faithful to his wife-to-be Katy Perry, and how she's made it absolutely clear to him that the "compromise" is necessary. He told The Mirror:

"You have to be. That’s one of the things about this institution of marriage I’ve recently had explained to me by my wife. You must be faithful and I don’t have a problem with that. I’m really, really in love.
 You know, it’s sort of odd isn’t it, because there is certainly a compromise. You can’t just maraud through life f***ing whomever you’d like. Which is a shame, cause I wish I actually could do that. That’s the compromise."

Hmmm..... Well, that's certainly an honest response, isn't it?!! I only hope he can manage it!

Duchess lifted from "cash for access" despair as Andrew vows support

Prince Andrew yesterday promised his ex-wife that he wouldn't destroy their family over "a week of bad headlines", telling the Duchess of York he believed she was set up in the cash for access row and didn't deserve the negative attention she's been subject to since Sunday.

They spoke on the phone following the Duke of York's engagement in Cambridgeshire, with Sarah calling her ex-husband from LA, where she has received an award for her charity work.

A close friend says that the tearful Duchess repeated her offer to leave the Royal Lodge in Windsor, Andrew's official residence where she maintains her own rooms. He quickly told his unpredictable ex-wife: "Don't be so silly. You can stay as long as you like." Sources shrewdly point out that Andrew knows Sarah could not leave if she wanted to - she can't afford rent.

Despite offering to sell access to him for £500,000, Andrew has maintained perspective on the situation and told Sarah she was cruelly set up by tabloid journalists who got her drunk and offered her cash. As she sobbed, he told her to "calm down and get a grip", with a pal revealing that daughters Beatrice and Eugenie have made several appeals to their father for understanding. The source concludes: "Andrew's attitude is that he isn’t going to tear his family apart because of one week’s bad headlines." Well, I certainly admire his stoicism!!! :-)

Posh defends her marriage

A furious Victoria Beckham has gone into bat for her marriage, hitting out angrily following a fresh wave of rumours that her husband David has been cheating on her. She tells 'OK!' mag:

"I know David has never cheated on me. I really do believe deep down that I have the most faithful husband I could hope for. I can honestly say I am really lucky to have him. I couldn't live a lie and it would be unfair on the children. We are working on things together but our marriage is absolutely not a business arrangement. Could you, for all the money in the world? I couldn't."

Doesn't this statement seem a bit...... qualified? The most faithful husband "she could hope for" isn't exactly the same as a faithful husband, is it? Well, whatever works for them I guess!
