I can't decide if I should get behind Kerry Katona's recent stunning transformation or not.

On one hand, I'm thinking.... come on, let's keep it real.

She's still bankrupt. She still hasn't got a job. In fact, she said recently she doesn't intend to search for work until she feels "settled". And just a few months ago she was forcibly stuffing Columbia's finest nose powder up her snout while her poor kiddies played outside her room.

But she looks damn good at 'Prince of Persia', eh? If Claire Powell and her CAN Associates minions keep her looking like this, she isn't going to have any problems getting work again!!

Susan Boyle has finally tired of her brothers' fame-whoring and launched legal action.

The 'Britain's Got Talent' heroine is suing John and Gerry Boyle for breach of privacy, in a move that follows a series of tiresome (paid) interviews where they have expressed "concern" for their 49-year old sibling. Friends say that Susan is "tired" and "hurt" by the constant intrusions, and annoyed that the pair have recruited a media agent to handle their interview requests. I'm so glad she's taking action to shut these idiots up - concern for your family is private, and doesn't belong in paid interviews, whether it's well-placed or not. Team SuBo!!!!

Rhydian quits Cowell's 'Sycobubble'

Silver-haired 'X Factor' star Rhydian Roberts has announced he's leaving Simon Cowell's management label Syco with a series of veiled insults towards the music mogul. Rhyd says:

"I enjoyed my time in the Cowell Sycobubble but I’ve always wanted to be taken seriously as a classical singer. And the truth is that Syco is no longer the best label for me. In creative terms, they don’t have the right approach or experience when it comes to classical music.
This is something they would admit themselves. I want to make the sort of album that will launch me on the international stage and, like Russell Watson and Hayley Westenra, appeal to audiences in Asia and Japan.
The X Factor and Simon Cowell were definitely a good launch pad for me. They changed my life forever. And I’ll always be grateful to the three-and-a-half million people who voted for me."

"Sycobubble"? "They don't have the right approach"??? Well, I guess that's how Rhydian chooses to express that gratitude he's talking about. He'd be nothing without Simon Cowell.

Big disappointment at British Soap Awards. They all look great!

Well, I'm gutted. Gutted! Usually, you can rely on any awards show with soap opera stars attending for some really, REALLY bad outfits. They work long hours and don't get out much, which means they tend to go a bit crazy with glitter, cleavage and flesh-flashing fashion-wise.

Not this year though :---(

The British Soap Awards on Saturday night didn't really yield any style disasters. I can't say anyone looked great either judging by this bunch above, but we've seen much, much worse.

By the way - fact fans might recall that this awards do last year was the last place that Peter Andre and Katie Price appeared together in public, announcing their split by the Monday!!!

Betty Driver to quit 'Corrie'

Actress Betty Driver has confessed that she plans to quit 'Coronation Street' later this year.

Just over a week away from her 90th birthday, Betty told friends: "If my health holds up I just want to get through this year and take a big part in the anniversary celebrations. Then my remaining plans are to put my feet up and have a long overdue rest." Driver was hospitalised only a week ago suffering with a serious chest infection, so it sounds like it's time for a break!

Disgraced game show host Michael Barrymore is to appear on 'Come Dine With Me'.

Those of you familiar with the Channel 4 series will know that means he'll be hosting a dinner party at his home. Now, I don't know about you - but have they forgotten that a man died at Barrymore's house in deeply suspicious circumstances?!?! All I'll say is, stay out of his pool!

BUSTED!

Katie Price has been nicked for using her mobile phone at the wheel of her horse truck.

Police spotted her behind the wheel of the 8-tonne, bright pink vehicle in February in Sussex, with a source saying: "The officers who pulled Kate over in the horsebox could hardly believe their eyes. There was not much trouble identifying her, and the horsebox isn't exactly subtle."

It wouldn't be too big a deal (the £2,500 fine and three points won't change her life, will it?), but Price is also facing charges of breaking the 70mph speed limit on a motorway stemming from last year. That could bring anything up to six points, too. She won't have a licence left if she doesn't sort her driving out soon! It's lucky she's hired celebrity brief Nick Freeman. He isn't called 'Mr Loophole' for nothing, so if anyone can get her out of this mess, it'll be him!!
