Eva Longoria was joined by a host of celeb pals at her restaurant Beso in LA last night, all gathered to celebrate the launch of her new perfume 'Eva'. Guests included her 'Desperate Housewives' co-stars Felicity Huffman and The Body Snatcher Teri Hatcher, plus Heidi Klum, Mario Lopez, Robin Antin, Matt Goss, Adrian Grenier and huge irritant Niecy Nash.

Sounds like an event for the launch of a perfume, eh?!

I guess Eva really has some pulling power in Hollywood. Maybe it's the free food ;--)

Druggie Dappy says sorry

N-Dubz star Dappy has been caught snorting the recently-banned drug mephedrone.

Known as meow meow, ministers made it illegal after it was linked to a series of deaths. The Sun have obtained photographs of Dappy snorting white powder, which he has identified as mephedrone, in a nightclub following a gig for young fans. Addressing the pictures last night, Dappy explained: "Meow meow was still legal then and lots of my mates were taking it too. I know this drug has now been made illegal and would not endorse any of our fans taking it." Adding that he's "learned his lesson", he urged any fans of his group not to copy his actions.

I'm not suggesting that Dappy is misleading anyone, but....... it's convenient that this meow meow was legal when the photos were taken, isn't it? Because if that white powder had been cocaine, for instance, he'd have broken the law and be subject to investigation. Just sayin' ;)

Piers Morgan set for US talk show

Reality show judge Piers Morgan is pursuing his own solo chat show deal in the States. The 'Britain's Got Talent' star confirmed that he's close to inking a deal with NBC, commenting:

"Barbara Walters has just semi-retired, and I think there is an opportunity there for me. I do one-on-ones - like Barbara Walters. I am not an entertainment talk show, late night guy. It is more biographical interviews. I have the number one talk show in England. NBC thinks it is the time to try to do something."

Do you think Piers will be a hit on his own with US audiences??? Rather them than us, LOL!

Simon Cowell debunks wedding myths

Simon Cowell has spoken out to dismiss the increasingly-frantic raft of rumours surrounding his wedding plans to make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy, insisting that he will simply be "too busy" to marry her this year. The 'Britain's Got Talent' supremo informed the Daily Telegraph:

"In spite of various people claiming to be making arrangements for our wedding, no such plans exist. When Mezhgan and myself decide the time is right, we will make our own plans. I just want to clarify the situation because I keep reading about different people planning our wedding."

By the way, you might remember it was his pal Sinitta who started moaning about who was planning the wedding. Granted the tabloids have ran with it, but the bullsh*t started with her!!

Dannii and her pal both look fab, don't they? I bet their gear is gonna fly off the shelves!!!

Lily Allen is kind of ungrateful

This is one of those times, Lily Allen.

The ungrateful pop star has been talking about her Brit Awards win in February, saying that it meant "absolutely nothing" to her. The mouthy madam told new! magazine: "Four years ago I would have died for that. But when I finally got that award it meant absolutely nothing to me. Because I now know that the Brit Awards is a TV show. Record company executives make deals with a TV channel and the producers about who wins what award in exchange for performance time. So it's just become a non-award, like 'Thank you for this'." Ok, that's all totally true - but the Brits have a more important purpose. They provide a massive surge in record sales at a time of the year when the retail industry is at a standstill. So shut up, Lily ;-)

John Partridge makes marriage plans

Actor and reality show judge John Partridge has announced plans to marry his boyfriend.

The 'Eastenders' star says he's planning a civil partnership with Jon Tsouras after a lengthy relationship, telling Heat magazine: "My lovely Jon's Canadian and so it's all about when his family can come over, which might be this autumn. We've been together for seven years and it's about time I made an honest man of him." Aww, I'm pleased for him!! Congrats to both :-)

Actor Ryan Phillippe reckons that he's pretty easy to please when it comes to women, but confesses there's one thing he absolutely can't stand. The 'Crash' star told Women's Health:

"Make me laugh. If a woman is funny, that will leave an impression and stay on my brain. I like dark, intellectual wit. But no jokes about bodily functions. That's not a turn-on for me."
