One of London's wildest clubs!

Review

Where is it?

Studio Valbonne stands in the legendary venue that housed the legendary 1970s venue of the same name, on Kingly Street between Carnaby and Regent Streets. It's near to Piccadilly or Oxford Circus tube stations.

What's it like?

Rich reds and golds in the decor are a stark contrast to more modern venues such as 24 (a few doors down on the same street). It gets ridiculously busy, particularly on Saturdays, and being on a promoter's guest list is a must here. No walk-ups! Though they make claims at sophistication, the crowd is actually pretty hedonistic and comprises hardcore drinkers, reality TV contestants and the WAG crowd. Musically, the club plays a pretty commercial blend but it seems almost superfluous to its punters, who are just here for a damn good time! Downing shots, flirting with strangers and dancing with total abandon are all part of the Studio Valbonne experience.

Why does Johnny Ikon love it?

This venue has history - Madonna partied here in the 80s alongside Boy George and George Michael, and the same decandence, abandon and hedonism of that decade is recaptured perfectly here. One for those wild Saturday nights!
