Review

Where is it?

Located on the very corner of Oxford Street and Dean Street, MAYA is on the edge of Soho, and a short walk from Tottenham Court Road tube.

What's it like?

I've seen Daisy Lowe DJ here, Lily Allen stumble out drunk and just about every other young trendy squash into the VIP area for this place's legendary nights. As you enter the club, there's a shimmering projection that looks like a glass wall but step straight through and you're into a sexy little paradise of gold, black and red. What they call a "New York door policy" translates to only those who look cool enough making it inside, and the music policy selects a pretty cool soundtrack featuring anything from the latest electro to rock music or disco classics. Eclectic is definitely the word!

Why does Johnny Ikon love it?

Sexy, sensual and swanky, MAYA's everything a modern members' club should be!
