Do you like private members bars without the pretension? Flashy but friendly.

Review

Where is it?

Located on Brewer Street in Soho, The Enclave is a short walk round the corner from Piccadilly Circus tube station. With gay mecca Old Compton Street on the doorstep, competition is fierce but this bar offers a cool bar, an underground club and a private 'Shrine' room for small groups.

What's it like?

Quirky and relaxed, The Enclave is unique in offering a late-night venue in Soho that doesn't cost a fortune but isn't tacky. With a mixed crowd of straights and gays, most of the punters here are smart and well-dressed and sipping cocktails such as a 'Venusian Lullaby', which has Stolichnaya, raspberry puree, cranberry juice and champagne. A few of them and you'll be on your back!

Why does Johnny Ikon love it?

The Enclave offers personal service, with Aussie entrepreneur owner Chris Theodoridis usually to be found wondering around drink-in-hand introducing himself to new customers and greeting regulars. It makes all the difference to your night out!
