The only club the Queen has ever visited

Review

Where is it?

Located in Berkeley Square, Annabel's is easily reached from Green Park or Bond Street tube stations. The entrance isn't very glam, but descend the stairwell into the basement club and things will soon hot up!

What's it like?

Inside, expect wood panelling, valuable but dull paintings, and dark furniture. The crowd still includes a certain breed of English gentlemen - Old Etonians, politicians and what remains of the aristocracy. There are a few younger, hipper faces these days, Kate Moss has even visited, and David Blunkett ruined his career here after his secret love trysts. Annabel's will always be rooted in history though, with the Queen's visits and Fergie and Diana's legendary high-jinks in the 1980s.

Why does Johnny Ikon love it?

It's laughably over the top, but the attention to detail is noticeable and it's so exclusive that it even bans ex-wives of their members. I love that!
